Brian draws on an integrative approach to counselling. He offers a non-judgemental and safe environment to all his clients. He establishes a collaborative partnership with his clients based on trust and acceptance, both of which he believes are essential to bring about positive change. Through Brian’s compassionate practice and overall warmth he has a particular ability to connect with others and provide support for those who struggle with maintaining a healthy work/life balance, manage their stress levels or live with a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, grief or trauma.

As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Brian welcomes people of all identities into his practice. 

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Person Centered Therapy (PCT) are approaches Brian integrates into his practice. This integrative and eclectic approach to counseling enables Brian to employ the most tailored and effective approach for each client. Brian is an empathic and respectful person and these attributes shine through his counseling style.

Brian attended Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador and completed his B.A in Psychology. More recently he obtained his Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
